Craig brings a unique, seasoned, and powerful perspective and capability building on his roles at Amoco Oil as Chief Automation Officer for Manufacturing, at Honeywell IAC as VP for Noth American Project Operations (NAPO), as Director of Operational Excellence at Aspen Tech, and the last 2 decades at OSIsoft (makers of the PI System and PI AF (now AVEVATM) as Global Business Development Executive for O&G, Petrochemicals, and LNG.
Craig’s career has been focused on building business value with the development of transformative and highly effective methodologies using PI AF to power analytics including AI, industrial information management, operational excellence, and business transformation.
Craig holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MBA from Rice University, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. With over 20 published articles and regular speaking at conferences and events, Craig is recognized as a thought leader.
With over 31 years of experience with the PI System and PI Asset Framework (PI AF), Ales is viewed as the global expert in the use of PI AF to deliver transformative business value.
He regularly performs PI AF heath check, consumption, governance, and analytic performance reviews , coaching and mentoring PI AF for individuals and teams, and developing PI AF implementation strategies to help in:
- PI AF enterprise rollouts
- large greenfield/CapEx projects
- mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- industrial information management initiatives
- advanced analytics /AI initiatives
Ales was part of the team that developed PI AF in the mid-1990s while at KBC and Sigmafine.
He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of California Berkeley.
Curt has over 4 decades in the application of digital technologies in the processing industries. Curt has deep expertise in PI AF having spend over 3 decades at OSIsoft, makers of the PI System and PI AF in a variety of roles including principal architect for PI AF. Curt focused his PI AF expertise on use in powering advanced analytics, AI, generative AI and advanced visualization as a foundation for a “layers of analytics strategy.”
Curt holds both a BS and MS degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan
Dr. Jie Chou is a distinguished expert in the field of time series operational data quality and management, with over two decades of experience with the AVEVA PI SystemTM and PI AF.
Throughout his over 2-decade career, Dr. Chou has collaborated with numerous organizations to enhance operational time series data quality governance.
He is the founder of Tycho Data, a company dedicated to developing health monitoring and operational data solutions leveraging PI AF.
In his role at AF Consulting, Dr. Chou is a Principal Consultant and VP Operational Data Quality and Context focused augmenting the management team in this critical area.
Dr. Chou holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering/bioengineering from the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign and a PhD in Bioengineering from Rice University.
Drawing on a diverse background across organizations of many sizes, Tanner believes that finance & accounting are more than just numbers, but critical tools that allow business owners to make educated decisions. Tanner takes a service-minded approach to his work and enjoys solving problems, creating solutions, and empowering others along the way. With experience in forecasting, financial planning & analysis, taxation, compliance, and operational strategy, he is deeply committed to giving business owners the tools to take their businesses to the next level.
When not crunching numbers, Tanner can be found spending time with his lab Millie or exploring Montana on a trail, by bike, in a river, or behind the camera.
